Birthing the Anointing in You through Intimacy

Ministry and anointing are birthed in you through your spending time in intimacy with God.  If
you want true anointing birthed in you, you must spend time with Him.  If you want true
anointing birthed in you must be intimate with Him through prayer, through time spent reading
and studying the Word of God and through praise and worship.

Luke 9: 18 And it came about that while He was praying alone, the disciples were with Him,…

Jesus was alone and he was praying.  While Jesus had this time of intimacy with God
through prayer he had his disciples with him.  The disciples were trained by Him in this place
of intimacy.  Jesus desires to train us to be intimate with Him and with God the Father just as
He trained the disciples.

The anointing will be birthed in you as you are intimate with Him.   The power of the anointing
will be released and flow out of you as you are intimate with Him.

The effects of intimacy can be pictured like a lamp being plugged into a wall socket or a hose
being plugged into a spigot.  Once a lamp plugs into the light socket the electricity flows
through that connection through the lame to the switch.  When you turn the switch on the
light will burn brightly.  The same us true for the hose and connected to the spigot.  Once you
connect the hose and turn the spigot to the on position the water flow.

Through intimacy you plug yourself into God.  You tap into Him and He is the source of your
power and your anointing.  He is now flowing through you.  Intimacy connects you with the
power source.  To walk in true anointing you must be connected to the power source.

I didn’t like it when God showed me intimacy being like a lamp and a hose which are plugged
in.  I didn’t like it because I knew they were removable.  I wanted to see a welding into Him
that was permanent.  I asked Him why it was not so, why did we have temporary or able to be
removed connections?  He said to me, “It is because we decide to disconnect from Him.  It is
because we decide to disconnect and move away from being connect to Him through
intimacy and fellowship with Him.

What is intimacy with Him?  It is so much more than saying a prayer at Him and giving Him
your prayer list.  Intimacy is walking in fellowship with Him.  Intimacy is communing with Him
in prayer and in worship.  Intimacy is having conversation with Him - you talking to Him and
you LISTENING to His reply, He talking to you and you LISTENING to Him.  Intimacy is you
personally knowing God.   Intimacy in not just knowing about Him, intimacy is knowing him
and walking in fellowship and communion with Him.

Intimacy with God can be found through corporate worship as we worship together in our
churches.  Sad to say it is often the only way many have intimacy with their God.
God would have us come to Him in intimacy through our prayer closets, through having a
private time alone with Him in fellowship and communion.   God would have us be intimate
with Him in times of private praise and worship before Him.

I have been trained in this intimate walk with Him myself.  I have learned to connect to Him
through intimacy.  He is the source of the power that flows through and out of me.  He is the
source of the anointing in me.  I have learned I must connect to Him and stay connected to
Him.

God has trained through my years of walking with Him to walk in this intimacy.

God gave me a vision of my training to walk intimately with Him.

He began this vision by showing me the years I stayed out of His throne room and out of His
intimate presence.  I would not come into Him.  I hid behind the veil.  I knew the veil had been
torn in two, but would not enter in.  I was afraid to come before my God.  I was afraid of Him.
I incorrectly thought that if He saw me His anger would rage against me.

God then showed me in this vision the training He brought to me to set me free from this
fear.  God sent the truth of His Word and taught me the truth that I had free access to Him
through the blood of Jesus.  I learned that when God saw me He saw the blood of Jesus
covering me.  I learned that His anger and His wrath would not rage against me.  He would
not consume me if I came behind the curtain. I learned that I could boldly come into His
presence and approach the throne of grace.   I was trained by Him to come behind the veil; I
no longer hid behind it.

God then spoke to me in this vision that the training does not end there, the training does not
cease at learning to come behind the veil and into His very presence.   He continues to call
us into new and deeper levels of intimacy than we’ve ever known before.   Intimacy is a
continual walk of knowing Him more and more and more!!

Intimacy with God will have a deep effect in your life.  It will cause you to become poor in
spirit - emptied and removed of your human spirit.   Being poor in spirit is the emptying out of
yourself, it is the emptying out of all your pride, it is the emptying out of all your plans, it is the
emptying out of all your thoughts, it is the emptying out or all your doings, and it is the
emptying out of all your flesh with its deeds and desires. Through intimacy with God your
human spirit decreases and He increase in us.  When our human spirit is emptied out God
and His Spirit will fill us to overflowing!

Intimacy with God can also be described as -  In To Me See.   Not only does this mean that
God sees into us but it also means that we see into Him through intimacy.  God is calling us
to come into new and deeper levels of intimacy.  He is calling us to come and see into Him
and into His heart.  God wants to show us His heart.  He wants us to know His desires.  He
wants us to know what He says about every situation we face.  He wants to tell us what to
pray for ourselves and for others.   He wants us to know Him and know His heart so that we
can truly be praying in accordance with His will.
Intimacy is also In to Me See - God seeing into us.  When we are intimate with God He will
begin to speak to us about what needs to be changed in our lives.  He removes from us all
obstructions which hinder His anointing and His power from flowing out of us.

When we walk in this intimacy it can be said of us as it was of Jesus “like Father like Son.”
We are called to be like Him.  We are called to be His representation on the earth.

Hebrews 1: 3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature,
and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He
sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Jesus walked intimately with God while He was on the earth.  This intimacy with God allowed
Jesus to see and know the heart of God.  Jesus because He saw the heart of God was able
to do what He saw there.  God longs to show us His heart so that we can do the things we
see there.

John 5: 19 Jesus therefore answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the
Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever
the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.

Jesus saw into the heart of God as He was intimate with Him. Jesus did the very things He
saw the Father doing.  When we are intimate with God we also see into God’s heart and then
do the things we see there.  God’s anointing is birthed in us as we see His heart and His
power is released as we go and do these works.

John 8: 29 "And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the
things that are pleasing to Him."

Through intimacy with God we also shall do the things that please Him.  We do so because
the heart of the Father has been revealed to us.

John 8: 28 Jesus therefore said, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I
am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught
Me.

John 8: 38 "I speak the things which I have seen with My Father; …

John 12: 49-50 "For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me
has given Me commandment, what to say, and what to speak.  50.  "And I know that His
commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told
Me."

Through intimacy with God we also shall speak the things we have heard while we were with
Him.

Matthew 14: 23 And after He had sent the multitudes away, He went up to the mountain by
Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone.

Luke 6: 12 And it was at this time that He went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent the
whole night in prayer to God.

We see in these scriptures Jesus getting away from the multitudes.  Jesus got away from
busyness.  Jesus got away from the demands and needs of the people.  Jesus got away to
be alone and pray.  Jesus departed from them so that he could spend time in intimacy with
God through prayer.  We must also take time away from all busyness and ministry and make
time for intimacy with God through prayer.

2 Peter 1: 17-18 For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such an
utterance as this was made to Him by the Majestic Glory, "This is My beloved Son with whom
I am well-pleased"--  18.  and we ourselves heard this utterance made from heaven when we
were with Him on the holy mountain.

If we would see the supernatural move of God we must be intimate with Him.  The
supernatural is born out of being intimate with God on His holy mountain.  As we walk in
intimacy with God we are plugged into Him and His anointing and His power flow out from
us.  The supernatural and the miraculous will then be performed through us by God.

John 14: 10 "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words
that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His
works.

Do we long for the supernatural move of God?  Do we hunger and thirst after it?  We must
press in to intimacy with Him if we are to see His supernatural move in the earth.  We must
connect to the Father’s heart and see the works that He would do.

Our eye must become single.  It must be set on Him.

Matt 6 : 22 (KJV) The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole
body shall be full of light.

Our eye must be single, it must be focused and set on Him and Him alone.

God gave me another vision.

In this vision I saw a tree and at the foot of the tree was fruit, this fruit covered the ground.
The fruit was not fruit but treasures that looked like gold coins and jewels.  Many were eating
and being satisfied with the treasures and jewels that were at the foot of the tree.

God asked me if I would be satisfied with these treasures and these jewels.  When He asked
me that I instantly replied, “I do not want treasures and jewels, He is my treasure and He is
my jewel.  He is what I seek after, hunger for, and thirst after.  I am not satisfied unless I have
Him.”

When I said these words I saw myself rise up from eating the fruit at the foot of the tree and
come and eat from the tree itself.

God then spoke to me again and said, “Many are being satisfied feasting on the fruit at the
foot of the tree.  They have missed coming to the source of the fruit.”

He then again spoke, “I am the source, do not be satisfied with the treasures and the jewels
that are at my feet, rise up and come to me.  I am the source, I am the treasure that you seek;
I am the jewels that you seek, come and be satisfied only when you find me.

I encourage each one of us this day to not be satisfied with the treasures and jewels that are
at his feet.  I encourage each one of us to rise up and seek the source.  He is our treasure
and He is our jewel.

I encourage each one of us to walk intimacy with Him.  If we are to see the supernatural flow
out of our lives we must be intimate with Him.
