Chapter 10 Spiritual Gifts

"We will look at the spiritual gifts in a whole new way as we look at them as
weapons of warfare. We have been well taught about spiritual gifts being given to
minister to the body of Christ. Let us now look a little deeper and see them as
weapons of warfare to destroy the works of the devil.
The spiritual gifts are a manifestation of the Holy Spirit through you as He, the Holy
Spirit, wills. The Holy Spirit distributes His gifts individually as He wills. The Holy
Spirit is the one who works each of these gifts and not the person that they flow
through. We deserve none of the credit for what He does through us. It is Him,
through us. All the glory and all the credit belongs to the Holy Spirit.
Through the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, there are three revelation spiritual
gifts, three power spiritual gifts, and three utterance or inspirational spiritual gifts.
The three revelation spiritual gifts are the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge,
and the discerning of spirits. The three power spiritual gifts are the gift of faith, the
working miracles, and the gifts of healing. The three utterance or inspirational
spiritual gifts are prophecy, various kinds of tongues, and interpretation of tongues."

not neglect these weapons. They are vitally important for us in defeating the enemy
and pulling down his strongholds in the earth."
