"This chapter is birthed out of the cry I hear from the women of God. They are
crying out, “I hear God’s call to me to get into my position in God’s army.  How do I
do this?  How do I step into my position when my pastor or those in leadership won’
t recognize my gifts and my call and use me?”

The first answer to this cry of the women of God is to not operate or move in
rebellion to those in leadership over you.  Our answer to rising up as mighty
women of God is not found in rebellion.  Secondly, our answer is not found in
defending our right to minister or in defending our right to move in our gifts and
calls as we function in them.   Thirdly, our answer is not found in demanding
“titles” be given us by man.  So many times, we are waiting for the title to be given
before we begin to move in our gifts or call. We are to be functioning in our gifts
and calls even if we never receive a title from man."

"Jesus did not defend His right or authority to minister to the Pharisees.  He told
them to judge the works that He did and that these works would testify of Him.  We
also are not to defend our right to minister or function in our calls and gifts.  Others
should judge our ministries, our gifts, and our calls by their fruit and by their
works.  We waste valuable time in trying to get the validation of man for our rights
to minister.  We need to cease making defense of our ministry and get busy about
the Father’s business.  When my pastor first asked me to preach my first sermon
in church, his words to me were, “Don’t ever waste your time defending your right
to preach.  Don’t ever waste your time defending your right to be behind that
pulpit.  Let the Word of God out of your mouth be your defender.”  He was saying
to let my fruit be my defender.  I say the same to you.  Don’t waste your time
defending yourself. Get about the Father’s business, and let your fruit and your
works speak for themselves!"
