Isaiah 30: 31-32  For at the voice of the LORD Assyria will be terrified, When He strikes
with the rod.
32  And every blow of the rod of punishment, Which the LORD will lay on him,
Will be with the music of tambourines and lyres; And in battles, brandishing weapons, He
will fight them.

Assyria represents the attack of the enemy which comes against us.  Warfare  was made
against the enemy with worship and with weapons in battle.  The blows of the rod of
punishment came upon the enemy with the music of tamborines and lyres.  Spiritual
warfare  weapons were used in the fight.

Psalm 149:6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their
hand,

Warfare against enemy came with worship and with weapons.  With our worship we make
war on the devil.  With our weapons of spiritual warfare we make war on the enmey.

We are to have the high praises of God in our mouths and a two edged sword in our hand.
We are to have the praises of God in our mouths and we are to have His word coming forth
from our mouths to defeat the devil and his schemes that come against us.

Ephesians 6:17 … and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Hebrews 4: 12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged
sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and
able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

We have weapons of warfare to overcome the adversity the enemy sends against us, they
are praise and worship and declaring of the Word of God.

David was a worshipper of the Living God.  Being a worshipper affected the life of David.
Worshippers will always defy the giants that come against them.  Worshippers won’t see the
circumstances, they will see God, they will see whom they worship and His power to
overcome every situation and circumstance the enemy sends against us.

Worshippers went in front of the army of Israel.

2 Chronicles 20: 21-22 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those
who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the
army and said, “Give thanks to the Lord, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.”
22  And
when they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon,
Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were routed.

God moved on behalf of His people as they praised and worshipped Him.  God overcame
the adversity sent by the enemy against them as they praised and worshipped Him.

Exodus 23:27 says, “I will send My terror ahead of you, and throw into confusion all the
people among whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.

God moved on the behalf of Israel as they praised and worshiped Him.  God will send His
terror ahead of you, God will throw into confusion all who come against you, God will make
your enemies turn their backs to you—this means your enemy will retreat!!!  God does this
on our behalf as we worship, praise and exalt Him.

Worship brough deliverance to Saul when he was tormented by an evil spirit.

1 Samuel 16:14-16 Now the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from
the Lord terrorized him.
15 Saul’s servants then said to him, “Behold Now an evil spirit from
God is terrorizing you.
16 Let our Lord now command your servants who are before you.
Let them seek a man who is a skillful player on the harp; and it shall come about when the
evil spirit from God is on you, that he shall play the harp with his hand, and you will be well.”

1 Samuel 16:23 So it came about whenever the evil spirit from God came to Saul, David
would take the harp and play it with his hand; and Saul would be refreshed and be well, and
the evil spirit would depart from him.

Worship as a weapon of warfare will push back the demonic realm, it will cause the enemy
and his demons to depart from us.

Worship brought deliverance to Paul and Silas when they were in prison.

In
Acts 16 Paul and Silas are ministering in the city of Philippi where a woman with an
unclean spirit of divination was following them.  This went on for many days and Paul
becoming annoyed commanded the unclean spirit to come out of her.  Her masters saw that
all hope of profit was gone they seized Paul and Silas and brought them before the
magistrates.  Paul and Silas were beaten with rods and then thrown into prison.

What did Paul and Silas do as they sat in that prison cell.  Did they cry out to God that it He
was treating them unfairly because of what was happening to them,  Did they accuse God
of not being good?  NO!!!

Acts 16:25  But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to
God, and the prisoners were listening to them;

Paul and Silas in that prison cell prayed and sang hymns of praise to God.  We know that
God sent an earthquake that loosed Paul, Silas and all who were in that prison.   What are
you doing as adversity from satan comes against you.  Worship and praise God you will
overcome the adversity!!!   Be as Paul and Silas, overcome the adversity with praise.

They did not give praise AFTER they were delivered from the prison.  They gave this
offering of praise BEFORE they were released from the prison.  We are to shout the shout
of victory BEFORE we possess the victory!  We are to offer the sacrifice of praise and
worship to our God BEFORE we possess the victory.

Israel shouted the victory shout BEFORE they possessed the victory over the city of
Jericho.

Joshua 6:5 "And it shall be that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when
you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall
of the city will fall down flat, and the people will go up every man straight ahead."

Joshua 6:16 And it came about at the seventh time, when the priests blew the trumpets,
Joshua said to the people, "Shout! For the LORD has given you the city.

Joshua 6:20 So the people shouted, and priests blew the trumpets; and it came about,
when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, that the people shouted with a great shout
and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight
ahead, and they took the city.

Israel gave the shout of victory the walls came down.  When we give our shout of victory,
when we give our sacrifice of worship to God, the walls of adversity will come down.

Psalm 30:5 …Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.

Weeping won’t change your situation.  Weeping will not bring the walls of adversity that
come against you down.  Weeping and grieving accomplish
NOTHING.  Weeping and
grieving negate confessions of faith, negate declarations made in faith. We  negate our
declarations made in faith by weeping and grieving. We declare in faith and weep in doubt.

We must cease our weeping over the adversity that comes against us.   We must begin to
shout in victory, begin to give forth the sacrifice of praise and see the walls of adversity fall
down.

God is not moved by our weeping.  God moves when we offer Him faith, God moves when
we offer Him belief.  Give God a victory shout in praise and worship and allow Him to move
in the midst of your circumstances.

Psalm 35:27-28 Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication; And let them
say continually, "The LORD be magnified, Who delights in the prosperity of His servant."
28  And my tongue shall declare Thy righteousness And Thy praise all day long.

Psalm 66:1-5 Shout joyfully to God, all the earth;  2  Sing the glory of His name; Make His
praise glorious.
3  Say to God, "How awesome are Thy works! Because of the greatness of
Thy power Thine enemies will give feigned obedience to Thee.
4  "All the earth will worship
Thee, And will sing praises to Thee; They will sing praises to Thy name." Selah.
5  Come
and see the works of God, Who is awesome in His deeds toward the sons of men.

God moves on our behalf when we praise Him.  His deeds are awesome towards us as we
praise Him.

Psalm 71:22-24 will also praise Thee with a harp, Even Thy truth, O my God; To Thee I
will sing praises with the lyre, O Thou Holy One of Israel.
23  My lips will shout for joy when
I sing praises to Thee; And my soul, which Thou hast redeemed.
24  My tongue also will
utter Thy righteousness all day long; For they are ashamed, for they are humiliated who
seek my hurt.

When we sing praises to our God, when we give Him the shout of victory, those who seek
our hurt are made ashamed and are humiliated.

Psalm 100:1-5  Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth.  2  Serve the LORD with
gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing.
3  Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is
He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His
pasture.
4  Enter His gates with thanksgiving, And His courts with praise. Give thanks to
Him; bless His name.
5  For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting, And His
faithfulness to all generations.

To give God the shout of victory in praise and worship you must believe that GOD IS
FAITHFUL.  Many, many, many know God has been faithful, we must believe our God IS
faithful to us today, He is faithful to us right now and forever.

Psalm 105:43  And He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with a joyful
shout.

Do you see your deliverance in this scripture?  Do you see He will bring you forth and
overcome all the adversity the devil brings against you to hinder you with your shouts of joy
and shouts of victory.

Psalm 126:5-6 Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. 6  He who goes to
and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy,
bringing his sheaves with him.

Your tears won’t accomplish the work, your tears won’t change the situation BUT you will
reap when you shout joyfully.  You will reap when you give shouts of joy.   When you move
past the weeping and the grieving and start giving you shouts of victory you will reap a
harvest.  Sheaves are a harvest that has been reaped.  Praise Him, dance before Him, and
shout a victory shout unto your God.  The adversity the enemy sends against you will be
overcome and you will reap and have a harvest.

Isaiah 26:19 …You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy,…

Arise out of your dust and shake off your weeping, awake and shout for joy to your God.
He has the victory in His hand over every circumstance the enemy is sending against you.
He is the victorious God.  Praise Him for the victory, dance before Him for the victory, give
Him a shout for the victory.

Isaiah 61: 3 (KJV)  To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for
ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they
might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

God gave beauty for the ashes of destruction, the oil of joy for mourning/for all the weeping
and grieving, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness/the depression and
discouragement that assails us—that He might be glorified.  God is glorified when we praise
Him through all of our situations and circumstances, God is glorified as we praise Him
through our storms and through every trial and tribulation that comes our way.  He has
given us beauty, the oil of joy and the garment of praise to overcome all the adversity the
devil brings against us.

God has given us beauty for the ashes that satan would bring into our lives.  Satan tries to
bring destruction.  Ashes are a form of destruction.  Satan has come to destroy.  God has
given us the beauty of worship to overcome all that satan would try to make into ashes by
his destruction.

God has given us the oil of joy for mourning.  Satan comes to bring death into all that God
has given us.  God has given us the oil of joy of worship to overcome the death that satan
would bring.

God has given us the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.  Satan comes to bring
depression and discouragement.  God has given us the garment of praise to cancel out and
overcome the attack of the enemy.

You have been given weapons of warfare to overcome the adversity sent by the devil.  Your
weapons are your worship and praise given to God, your shouts of victory shouted before
you possess the victory in this physical realm and the declaring of the Word of God.

Use these weapons and overcome all the adversity that comes against you.
